This one-hour seminar presented latest developments and use-cases of printed and flexible electronics for wearable applications that increase e.g., the range of functionalities of garments and optimize the efficiency and health of the wearer.

ISPO Munich Online – the world’s largest trade fair for the sports industry – takes place as an online event from from 1-5 February 2021. Also this year OE-A will represent the flexible and printed electronics industry by organizing a web-seminar at the ISPO Munich Online Conference. Attend the OE-A Seminar and find out what this technology all enables in the sports business and well-being industry.

Flexible sensors and smart skin patches to monitor your performance and physical conditions to improve your training and well-being. Smart soles to track your movement and running style. Organic and printed electronics is a revolutionary new type of electronics, being thin, lightweight, flexible, robust, and produced at low cost. The high degree of freedom of design requires a holistic approach in product design to enable this wide range of novel applications.

OE-A members presented their printed electronics technologies and how they can enable new features for the sports and well-being industry as well as digital health solutions. With this seminar, OE-A aims to further strengthen the connection to the end-user and to showcase and emphasize the necessity of joint product development to successfully promote the integration of next-generation electronics into sporting goods and health products.
