This demonstrator is a kinetic sculpture highlighting the thin form factor and flexibility of printed electronic. In a form of a flower brought alive by piezoelectric actuation and speakers and interacting with public through proximity sensing. The aim is to give flexible plastic films and origami a sense of life by exploiting printed actuators based on piezoelectric materials, light distribution with hybrid integration of LEDs on the foils and printed capacitive proximity sensors.

The different pieces are stitch together in order to mimic the structure of the flower and the control electronics is deported below through the stem of this symbolic flower.
