Having a PhD in Theoretical Physics, Guido van Tartwijk recently took over the position as CEO of Heliatek, a leading innovator in OPV thin films, born out of the Universities of Dresden and Ulm. Prior to this, Guido was CEO of Triodonic , a globally leading LED Lighting Electronics & Controls manufacturer. He also had various leading and executive roles in Philips Lighting, based in Shanghai from 2005. He furthermore had various roles at high-tech (start-up) companies (JDS Uniphase, GenOA, Three-Five Photonics, Genexis) in the hardware telecommunications industry, all building on semiconductore (GaAs, Inp) based innovations to make the Internet’s ever increase in speed possible.
