On October 10th, 15:30 (CEST), the OE-A Working Group Women in PE/Diversity organizes a web-seminar on how to leverage intercultural diversity to strengthen your business.
We invite our members to join the web seminar on intercultural diversity, October 10, 15:30 – 16:30 and learn more about how to use diversity successfully as a business tool.
Preliminary Agenda, October 10, 15:30
Welcome and Intro
Andrea Glawe, Sales Director, Kroenert, DE
Dr. Klaus Hecker, Managing Director, OE-A
Isabella Treser, Project Manager, OE-A
Presentation
Marc Jacobs, co-founder of Molecular Plasma Group and co-founder of The Culture Factor Belux
In this seminar, Marc will introduce you to the 6D-model of national cultures. It was originally developed by the late Prof. Geert Hofstede as tool to understand and manage cultural differences in organisations. By visualizing the sometimes ‘fluffy’ topic of culture in simple metrics, it makes it much more tangible and therefore something that can be managed more effectively.
If you’d like to do some pre-reading, you can visit: https://www.hofstede-insights.com/country-comparison-tool
Marc co-authored the book ‘Negotiate like a local – 7 Mindsets to increase your success rate in international business’ which features on London Business School’s recommended reading list and is also published in China by Fudan University Press.
A detailed agenda will be available soon. Registration opens two weeks prior to the event. Participation at this web-seminar is free of charge and open to OE-A members exclusively.
