Expanding Dimensions: 3D Structural Electronics
Next OE-A Meeting Europe taking place at VDMA in Frankfurt am Main (DE) on October 28-29
Printed electronics is going to the third dimension. New applications were enabled by conformable and flexible electronics, now more complex 3D electronics enters mass markets like automotive, white goods, sporting goods or consumer electronics. Learn from end-users on automotive displays, shoes with integrated sensors, and collaborative robots with sensor skins. New production equipment for additive manufacturing in combination with printed electronics will be presented.
These topics will be focused on during this OE-A Meeting in Frankfurt; all in line with the special topic: ‘Expanding Dimensions: 3D Structural Electronics’. Hosted by VDMA, of which OE-A is a working group, the OE-A Meeting Europe takes place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany on October 28-29, 2019.
Additional presentations in the meeting will focus on artificial intelligence in materials research, and funding programs. Big names such as Arburg, Continental, and Bosch will be giving insights into, among others, future of electronics, mass customization, and end-user perspectives. Also, the OE-A working groups Hybrid Systems, Sustainability and Encapsulation will meet as well as the initiative ‘Women in Printed Electronics’.
In the evening of October 28, there will be the chance to visit the Klassikstadt, showcasing over 350 classic vehicles, followed by a networking dinner. A perfect setting to continue exchanging ideas and starting new collaborations.
