During OE-A’s Annual General Assembly and Meeting on March 18, OE-A members will visit IBM Watson IoT Headquarter

On Monday, 18 March the next OE-A Meeting will take place in Munich, Germany. The OE-A Meeting preceding LOPEC (19-21 March) is always something special, as it is also the annual General Assembly of the association. This year, we will also elect the new OE-A Board of Directors, to continue the successful course of our association.

At the co-located assemblies of the various OE-A Working Groups, interactive discussions and the exchange of ideas are planned. Again this year the OE-A Demonstrator Working Group will have the exciting but difficult task to evaluate the submissions of the OE-A Competition 2019 participants. As in previous meetings, representatives of guest companies and new OE-A members will have the opportunity to present their companies in short presentations. The OE-A will furthermore provide updates and an outlook of 2019, as well as will discuss the focus points for the upcoming period.

The meeting will be concluded by a visit to the IBM Watson IoT Headquarter, showing the future possibilities of smart data, of which the gathering is enabled by the tremendous advancements of our industry. The networking dinner will not only offer valuable conversations, but also a spectacular view from the IoT headquarter onto the Alps. This will be another occasion for the participants to further strengthen ties with fellow members, make new connections, as well as discus business opportunities.

Creating the right partnerships is essential, both between different companies as well as between companies and research institutes. With regular Working Group Meetings in Europe, Asia and the US, OE-A supports its members with an effective networking and communication platform, fostering collaboration and promoting information exchange among all players along the value chain.
