Attend OE-A Meeting in Aix en Provence, France on October 23-24
On October 23-24 the next OE-A Meeting Europe will take place in Aix en Provence, France. Hosted by OE-A members Genes’ Ink and CEA-Liten, this OE-A Meeting with the special topic “Connected World: From Stores to Sky” will again offer a wide variety of printed electronics activities.
OE-A Working Groups meet for interactive discussions
At the co-located assemblies of the various OE-A Working Groups, interactive discussions and the exchange of ideas are planned. The new OE-A roadmapping process will continue, including another round of roadmapping break-out sessions. The Sustainability Working Group will have a closer look in developing a quantitative model for the impact of printed electronics in waste streams resulting from common applications. With talks from the Danish Technological Institute and db-matik, the Working Group Hybrid Systems will focus on the production and qualification of hybrid electronics. The Working Groups Encapsulation and Education will meet as well.
Presentations, Company Tours & Networking Opportunities
There will be several interesting impulse talks from various end-users, such as Traxens and CrossCall during the OE-A Meeting. Other presentations, for example on Industry 4.0 by VDMA, emphasize the informative and diverse character of these meetings. Furthermore, company tours of Team Henri Fabre and STMicroelectronics are being planned. A dinner on the first evening will complete the OE-A Meeting. These additional events will be another occasion for the participants to further strengthen ties with fellow members, make new connections, as well as discuss business opportunities.
Creating the right partnerships is essential, both between different companies as well as between companies and research institutes. With regular Working Group Meetings in Europe, Asia and North America, OE-A supports its members with an effective networking and communication platform, fostering collaboration and promoting information exchange among all players along the value chain.
